The Miller County Autogram-Sentinel, Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007 Ernest Gene. Wall, 82, of Richland died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Richland Care Cen-ter in Richland. He was born Oct. 17, 1924, at Hawkeye to Everett and Elsie Short Wall. In 1947 he was married in Swedeborg to Maude Leatta Schultz-Dun-ham, who died May 19, 2003. Mr. Wall was saved in Oc-tober 200 at the Swedeborg Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He had worked in construction and was a lifelong farmer. Surviving him are two sons, Don Wall and Leon Wall, both of Richland; a daughter, Linda Reed of Temple, Texas; three sisters, , Lorene Knaus of St. Louis, Bonnie Smelcer of Rolla and Hattie Jensen of Elgin, Ill.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 11 step--grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren. A stepson, Fred Dunham, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Long Funeral Home in Crocker with the Rev. James E. Marshall of Laquey officiat-ing. Burial was in Crocker Public Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Associa-tion.
