    3. Obituary: The Miller County Autogram-Sentinel, March 1987 Ruth Crisp, 82, of Rte; 1, Tuscumbia died Sunday, March 8, 1987 at St. Luke's Hospital in Wisconsin. She was born Aug. 31, 1904 in Tuscumbia to William C. and Fanny C. Edwards Hawken. Mrs. Crisp spent her working years in Kansas City, Kan. She was a 57- year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Mt. Zion Christian Church, the Tuscumbia Senior Citizens; and the Miller County Historical Society. Surviving her are a daughter, Dorothy Pfingsten of Racine, Wis.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde Hawken and Carl Hawken, both of Tuscumbia; a sister, Maude Nelson of Basehor, Kan.; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Zion, Christian Church with the Rev. Gene Edwards and the Rev. Charlie Worstell officiating. Burial was in the Tuscumbia Cemetery. Eastern Star services were held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home.
