    3. Friday, May 31, 1912 Word was received here Thursday of the death of Mrs. Martha Hinds, a former resident near Spring Garden, at the home of her nephew, Arthur D. Sullins, near Big Rock, Oklahoma, on May 25, age seventy-one years. Deceased was born near Spring Garden February 5th, 1841. She was the daughter of John Sullins, one of the earliest settlers of Miller County, and near which place she spent the greater portion of her life. In 1896 she and her husband, Mack Hinds, moved to Red Rock, Okla., where he died in 1902. Mrs. Hinds was a devout Christian woman and had been a faithful member of the Methodist Church for more than half a century. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eliza McMillin, of Sears, Okla., one brother, John Pinkney Sullins, of Red Rock, Okla., and one sister, Mrs. Annie Belsche, of Dear Harbor, Wash.
