Obituary: Jefferson City News Tribune, February 1986 Hezzy Clay Hinson, 80, Dixon, died Sunday at the Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach. He was born April 2, 1905, in Bumpus Mills, Tenn., a son of Clay and Annie George Hinson. He was married May 9, 1936, in Granite City, Ill., to Crethen Humphrey, who survives at the home. He was a member of the Brays Advent Christian Church, Iberia, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 40 AF and AM, Iberia, and a member of Jefferson City chapter No. 34 of the Royal Arch Masons. He worked for 23 years at the Granite City (Ill.) Steel Mill and was a corrections officer for 12 years for the Missouri Department of Corrections, Jefferson City, until his retirement in 1968. Other survivors include a daugh-ter, Leta Tyhurst, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Brays Advent Christian Church, Iberia. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Iberia. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. today at the Stevinson- Mossman Funeral Home, Iberia.
