DEAN BAUGHMAN, 72, DIES; SPENT LIFE IN COUNTY Alpha Dean Spalding Baughman, 72, of 405 N. Maple St., Eldon, died June 18, 1979 at Osage Manor Nursing Home in Iberia. She was born May 22, 1907 at Etterville to William Granville and Alice L. Bell Slpalding. She was a lifel long resident of the county. She was q member of the Eldon First Christian Church and Miller Rebekah Lodge at Eldon. Before her retirement she worked as a machine operator for International She Co. Surviving her are a sister, Philapean Spalding, Eldon, and two brothers, Clarence Spalding and Ralph Spalding, both of Eldon. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon with the Rev. O. D. Johnson officiating. Burial was in Spring Garden Cemetery.
