Obituary: Jefferson City Post-Tribune, September 2000 Warren Bennie Wilson, 75, Tuscumbia, died Sept. 29, 2000, at Osage Beach Health Care Center. Wilson was born Dec. 13, 1924, in Tuscumbia, a son of James B. and Lectia Evelyn (Atkinson) Wilson. He was married October 11, 1947, in Tuscumbia, to Myrtle Virginia Stark, who survives of the home. Am Army veteran of World War II, he farmed and was a member of Ulman Christian Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Sharron Pitts, St. James; one son, Steven Wilson, Tuscumbia; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today.
