Obituary: Jefferson City News Tribune, Sunday, January 6, 2002 Dan Shepherd, 75, Marthasville, died Feb. 20, 2002, in Marthasville. He was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Eldon, a son of James and Anna Agnew Shepherd. A Navy veteran, he was a life member of the American Legion. A salesman, he was employed with Starr Coffee and with Cummings/McGowin & West Heavy Equipment Company in St. Louis. Survivors include: one daughter, Dana M. Morrow, St. Peters; one son, David A. Shepherd, Wright City; two brothers, James Shepherd, Eldon, and Logan Shepherd, Springfield; one sister, Barb Reavis, Houston, Texas, and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Stephen Riordan will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or the Missouri School for the Blind.
