Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, Tuesday, July 4, 2000 Eula Mae Bedwell, 70, of Eldon died Wednesday, June 28, 2000, in Jefferson City. She was born May 15, 1930, in Miller County to O.B. and Nora Selix Bond. On July 28, 1950, she was married in Lake Ozark to Ray "Buzz" Bedwell Jr., who died Aug 31, 1988. Mrs. Bedwell was a graduate of Eldon High School. She was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone, Co. until her retirement. She was a member of the Eldon First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Donald Bedwell of Eldon and Robert Bedwell of Jefferson City; a daughter, Nancy Bedwell of Jefferson City; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Lorene Farris, Helen Wright and Pauline Currence, all of Eldon. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. Burial was in Greenmore Memorial Gardens at Barnett under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, the Diabetes Foundation or the Eldon First Baptist Church.
