Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, January 1969 Arnold Robert (Onn) Henley of Eugene, a retired farmer, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1969, at the home of a son, Kenneth, on old Hwy. 54 South, Jefferson City. He was 81 years of age. Mr. Henley was born Sept. 25, 1887 at Eugene, a son of the late Thomas W. and Matilda (Norfleet) Henley. He was married Dec. 1, 1907 to Emma Gladys Buster. Mrs. Henley died March 29, 1965. Mr. Henley was a member of the Eugene Christian Church. In addition to his son, Kenneth Henley of Jefferson City, he is survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Coffman, Springfield, Ore.; and four brothers, M.O. (Doc) Henley of Holden, Luke and Lester Henley of Eugene, and James Henley of Kansas City. One daughter, Eula, died in infancy, and a son, Thomas, passed away Jan. 21, 1958. Funeral services for Mr. Henley were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eugene Christian Church with the Rev. Mike Abbott officiating. Burial was in the Eugene Cemetery under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon. Pallbearers were Billy Buster, Monroe Buster, Roy Henley, Herbert Henley, James Henley, and Paul Henley.
