Obituary: Jefferson City Post-Tribune, October 2000 Services were today for Raymond Workman Jr., 70, Iberia, who died Oct. 17, 2000, at his home. He was born Sept. 20, 1930, in Clayton, a son of Raymond Sr. and Flossie Olean Crum Workman. His mother survives in Iberia. He was married Nov. 24, 1949, in Valley Park, to Lorean Rowden, who survives at the home.] He was a retired self-employed carpenter and worked on the Frisco Railroad, St. Louis. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church, Iberia. Other survivors include: two sons, David Workman and Kevin Workman, both of Iberia; eight daughters, Norma Dake, Climx Springs, Barbara Franks, Fort Mills, S.C., Rita Jeffries, Brumley, Sandra Holmes, Jefferson City, and Charlotte Stark, Lorna Workman, Rhonda Crawford and Lisa Huddleston, all of Iberia; two brothers, Leroy Workman, Fenton, and Jackie Workman, Brumley; one sister, Janet Helton, Iberia; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services were at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. David King and the Rev. Floyd Dake will officiate. Burial was in Mount Union Cemetery, near Brumley. Memorials are suggested to the Raymond Workman Jr. Memorial Fund.
