    3. Can anyone tell me what day October 31, 1988 fell on? Obituary: Jefferson City Post Tribune, October 31, 1988 Mae M. McCubbin, 90, of 1920 N. Circle Dr. (Jefferson City), died Sunday at her home. She was born March 25, 1898, near Brumley, a daughter of Jacob and Loretta Graham Catron. She was married Nov. 28, 1917, at Tuscumbia, to Virgil McCubbin, who survives at the home. A homemaker, Mrs. McCubbin was a member of the First Baptist Church. She lived the majority of her live in Mid-Missouri. She attended Miller County and Iberia public schools. Other survivors include: two daughters, Helen Sams, St. Louis, Doris Clark, Jackson, Tenn.; one sister, Grace Richardson, Jefferson City; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. One son, Troy McCubbin, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Houser Chapel with the Rev. G. Nelson Duke officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the Hospice of Jefferson City.
