    3. Obituary: Jefferson City Post Tribune, Wednesday, January 9, 2002 Treva Mae Platter, 85, Enon, died Jan. 8, 2002, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born May 21, 1916, in Miller County, a daughter of Ralph M. and Rosa Ellen Cooper Blankenship. She was married June 29, 1935, in Tuscumbia, to Charlie Platter, who died Aug. 5, 1991. She attended Central Point School and was a lifelong resident of Miller, Moniteau, and Cole counties. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school; sang in the choir and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union. She was Ms. Nursing Home Queen at Villa Marie in 2000. Survivors include: one son, Charles D. Platter; Jefferson City; two daughters, Marlis Meyer, Jefferson. City, and Shirley Goldammer, Russellville; two sisters, Selma Barker, Eldon, and Eulah Wickham, Tollhouse, Calif.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. One great granddaughter preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Enon Baptist Church. The Rev. Randy Trumbo and the Rev. Jasper Hunter will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville. Visitation Will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Scrivner~Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville. Memorials are suggested to Enon Baptist Church or Villa Marie Activities Program.
