    3. Obituary: Jefferson City Post-Tribune, September 2000 James F. "Jim" Patterson, 67, Westwego, La., died Sept. 23, 2000, at Veterans Administration Hospital, New Orleans. He was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Dixon, a son of Harry P. and Goldie Cross Patterson. He was married Aug. 24, 1962, in New Orleans, to Betty Cantrelle, who survives at the home. He was a 1950 graduate of Iberia High School and received a bachelor's degree in Christian ministry from Southwestern Assemblies Bible College, Waxahachie, Texas, and a master's degree in public health from Tulane University, New Orleans. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired as a lieutenant colonel. He served as vice administrator of Phelps County Regional Hospital, Rolla, and vice president of administration of Crossroads Christian Communications, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He served as administrator and treasurer of Pat Robertson's Presidential Campaign. He served as church administrator and visitation pastor for Norwood Temple, Fayetteville, N.C. Other survivors include: two daughters, Revonne Behrend, Brazoria, Texas, and Ann Mainse, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; two sons, Frank Duracher, Florence, Ala., and Aaron Duracher, Carriere, Miss.; three brothers, Floyd Patterson, Lake Lotawana, Paul Patterson, Iberia, and Sam Patterson, Lee's Summit; one sister, Hazel Catron, Springfield; and 12 grandchildren. One son, James Farris Patterson II, preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Iberia Assembly of God Church. The Rev. David Mainse and the Rev. Jeff Higbie will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia.
