Obituary: Jefferson City Post-Tribune, Tuesday, January 29, 2002 Forrest Gene Scrivner, 61, Osage Beach, died Jan. 28, 2002, in Osage Beach. He was born May 22, 1940, in Miller County, a son of Ernest and Lelia Opie Scrivner. He was self-employed in construction. Survivors include: one son, Forrest Mitchell Scrivner, Springfield; two daughters, Kimberly J. Webery, and Demetria "Dee" Fisher, both of Eldon; two brothers, Jewel Scrivner, Vallejo, Calif., and James Scrivner, Eldon; one sister, Byrlene Connell, Eldon, and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Roy Weece will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are suggested in care of the family.
