Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, 1978 Mrs. Anna D. Brockman, 83, Eldon, died Friday at her home. She was born March 4, 1895, at Spring Garden, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Malinda Miller Hinds. She was married Dec. 14, 1912, at Spring Garden, to James Basil Brockman who died June 29, 1975. Mrs. Brockman, a member of the First Baptist Church, Eldon, lived in Eldon since 1972 and lived in the Eldon area for most of her life. Survivors include: two sons, Earl M. Brockman, Eldon and John B. Brockman, Neosho; a daughter, Mrs. Gloria A. Bradley, Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Gray, Eugene and Mrs. Myrtle Fields, Eldon; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Phillips Funeral Chapel in Eldon with the Rev. Arnim Ray officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
