Obituary: Jefferson City Post-Tribune, Thursday, January 31, 2002 Helen Marie Brumley, 78, Oskaloosa, Kan., formerly of Holts Summit, died Jan. 26, 2002, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka, Kan. She was born May 21, 1923, in Cedar City, a daughter of Ernest E. and Clara Bertie Stewart Bratton. She was married to Vernon L. Minshall, who preceded her in death. She was married to Harold Victor Hughes, who preceded her in death. She was married to Otha A. Brumley, who preceded her in death. She lived in the Jefferson City and Holts Summit area for most of her life. She worked for Westinghouse and retired in 1983 as a quality control supervisor. She also worked for the State of Missouri. She was a member of the Cedar City Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Sandra K. Townsend, Fortuna, and Jacqueline S. Salsbury, Topeka, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. One son, Daniel L. Minshall, preceded her in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit. The Rev. John Gorham will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Memorials are suggested to Hickory Pointe Care and Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund.
