I would say Christopher C. (as in Christopher Columbus). I checked my Moniteau County Marriages 1845-1875 and didn't find a marriage for C.C. for that time period. Also checked Cole and no marriage there. 1880 Census Moniteau County C. C. Brown age 41 and wife Eliza age 50, children Mandania 15, Louiza 13, Jno. 11, Robert 9, Columbus 7. Parents born TN, all children born MO.
