Obituary: Jefferson City Post Tribune, Thursday, February 14, 2002 Steve Williams, 57, St. Anthony, died Feb. 13, 2002, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics (Columbia). He was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Maries County, a son of John and Rosetta Wagner Williams. He was married to Joyce Williams who survives in St. Anthony. He worked for Mike's Dozing and Excavating in Lake Ozark as a backhoe, dozer and dump truck operator. He was an Army veteran. Other survivors include: four sons, David Williams, Rolla, Ruben Williams, Columbia, Robert Williams, Salem, and James Herbert Williams, Eldon; three stepsons, Danny Cochran and Donny Cochran, both of Lake Ozark, and Darryl Cochran, Kansas City; one daughter, Christy Mitchell, Salem; one stepdaughter, Iva Prater, Eldon; two brothers, John Williams Jr., Lake Ozark and Otto Williams, Vienna; two sisters, Darlene Bland, Freeburg, and Annabell Franks, Vienna; 26 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Rader United Methodist Church, Vienna. The Rev. Donald E. Lowery will officiate. Burial will be in Rader Cemetery, Vienna. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
