I have this note in my file per Peggy Smith Hake: Not much information has been found about Mary L. Clark, wife of James Flaugher. Family Legend stats she was an orphan who was left sitting by her parent's tombstone at their funeral. She was supposedly reared by the Daniel Kinworthy family who lived in the same community. This is unconfirmed.
