Obituary: Jefferson City Post-Tribune, October 2000 Ruthilene Holzbierlein, 70, Russellville, died Nov. 10, 2000, at St. Mary's Health Center (Jefferson City). She was born Jan. 2, 1930, in Eldon, a daughter of Gail F. and Cecil O. Son Smith. She was married Sept. 29, 1951, near Olean, to Clyde L. Holzbierlein, who died Aug. 25, 1998. She was a 1947 graduate of Eldon High School. She worked with her husband on their farm and was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and flower gardening. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the Roscoe Enloe American Legion Post 5 Auxiliary. Survivors include: two sons, William Clyde Holzbierlein, Jefferson City, and Lyle Lee Holzbierlein, Russellville; two sisters, Ruby Laurie and Juanita Rogers, Eldon; and five grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The Revs. Alan Earls and Nancy Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in the Enloe Cemeery, Russellville. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
