Samuel Grant Heltzell Obituary Samuel Grant Heltzell was born May 3, 1866, at Glencoe, St. Louis county, Mo. He moved with the family to Miller Co. in 1883 but a year later went to St. Louis and began work as a bricklayer. About sixteen years ago he went to New York City and was engaged in the contracting business and remained there until the beginning of his illness which began with a paralytic stroke and a general nervous break down. In February, 1912, He was brought home to Iberia and June 21, 1912, was placed in St. Vincent Hospital, St. Louis where he died March 21, 1913. His remains were brought back to Iberia and buried. Rev Franz conducted the funeral services. The deceased leaves a father, brother, and two sisters to mourn their loss. The relatives have the deepest sympathy of the community.
