Obituary: The New Iberian, Wednesday, October 13, 1982 Everett Keeth, 88, Iberia, died Thursday, October 7, 1982 at Pulaski County Hospital, Waynesville. Mr. Keeth was born October 6, 1894 at Iberia, a son of Jonathon and Louisa Stone Keeth. He was married July 21, 1921, at Tuscumbia, to Lena Bays, who survives of the home. He was a civil service worker at Fort Leonard Wood, retiring in 1965. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion Post number 105 in Iberia, the disabled American Veterans, the World War I Veterans Barracks number 1442 in Tuscumbia, and the I.O.O.F. Lodge number 108 at Crocker. He was a member of the Burnett Christian Church, Dixon. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 1982 at the Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia. The Rev. Earl Jones officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Iberia. I.O.O.F. services were held Friday evening under the auspices of Lodge number 108.
