Obituary: The New Iberian, October 5, 1978 Mrs. Katherin Dake, 78, Ulman, died Saturday September 30 at Windsor Estate Nursing Home, Camdenton. She was born April 18, 1900, at Dixon, the daughter of Calvin and Margaret Hollis McKnolly. On Dec. 20, 1920, she was married in St. Louis to Everett Dake, who survives at the home. Mrs Dake was a member of the Mt. View Church of Christ. Other survivors include: three sons, Woodrow Dake, Kansas City, Everett Dake Jr., Iberia, and Raymond Loyd Dake, Eldon; one sister, Mrs. Ona Dake, Dixon; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2nd, at the Stevinson Funeral Home, Iberia wit Bro. William Hensley officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery, Iberia.
