    3. Squire John celebrated his 100th birthday in Dec. 1938, so that would have made this event around 1937. I would love to have a copy of this. Is it possible for you to scan and email it to me directly? beatku@mchsi.com I am directly related to many of these people mentioned. Thanks for the post, Nancy T. -----Original Message----- From: momiller-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:momiller-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of MeMe Sent: Thursday, May 17, 2007 4:07 AM To: momiller@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MOMILLER] Wall family gathering in MO in 1940 A newspaper article of a family gathering taken place aprox. 1940 Typed as written there is a piece missing from the top so I begin it where I can see the words... There is on headline or title sorry. ..... Three of the Honored Guests At This Event Were Sq. John Ferguson, 99, and Mrs. Katherine Boren, 97, Both of Iberia, and MR. Jeff Wall, 85, of Weaubleau, Mo. Big Dinner Served at Noon Hour. (hand written.. 1940) A host of relatives, and friends and neighbors gathered at the home of Mrs. Emma Condra and her sons, Elbert and Homer, southwest of town, Sunday, in a happy and enjoyable neighborhood reunion. The large group was made up of both local people and a goodly number from a distance. Included in the group were three of our oldest and time honored residents, Sq. John Ferguson, 99 years of age, and Mrs. Katherine Boren, 97, both of Iberia, and Jeff Wall, 85, of Weaubleau, Mo. The occasion was honored by their presence. Seldom ever in a neighborhood reunion of this nature does it occur that such aged old-time friends are able to meet each other and recall reminences of by gone days. One of the important and most enjoyable features of an occasion like this is the bountiful dinner, prepared and served by the women folks. This Sunday event was no exception to the case, because everyone present was well served a bountiful supply of good eats, such as is the custom of the ladies of this Ozark section to provide. Those who attended were: Sq. John Ferguson, Mrs. Katherine Born, Mr. John Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Atwill, Mrs. Mary Jane Keeth and daughter Ethyl, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbern Whittle, Mr. and Mrs. Odie Stites, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ferguson and daughters Elma and Lorene, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ferguson and daughter Marion, Mr. and Mrs Leslie Jones and family, Mrs Belle Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Haus and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Wall and family, Frank, Elbert and Homer Condra, Otto Wall and son Billy, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wall, Mr. and MRs. Henry Livingston, Mr. Norman Stites, Mr. Alta Keeth, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wall, Mr. McKinley Deardeuff, Mr. Melvyn Long, Mrs. Jane Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wall and family of Weaubleau, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Boone Hewitt and family of Weaubleau, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Wall and daughter of Hawkey, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Condra and family of Crocker, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shelton and family of Houston, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Kirt Willard of Sleeper, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Shelton and family of Brumley, Mo., and Mr. J.
