Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, Thursday, March 12, 1932 Clara Louise Morris, only daughter of Less and Bernice Burris Morris, was born on her grandmother's farm near Prairie Home, Mo., May 20, 1918 and die May 3, 1932. She united with the church and was baptized Oct. 18, 1931. Miss Morris' death was caused from burns when a can of kerosene exploded while she was trying to kindle a fire. She was a bright girl, idolized by the family and was to have graduated from the Eighth Grade in school last week. She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Dorsey and T.J. Morris, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Burris and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morris. She was a granddaughter of Mrs. Alpha McDow Burris, who is a sister of J.T. McDow of Barnett and Joe McDow of Versailles. Funeral services were held near Prairie Home.
