"Miami Daily Record" Ottawa County, Oklahoma Monday, February 28, 1966 page #3, column #3 MRS. PEARL COLLINS Mrs. Pearl Ella Collins, 79, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday in her home, 204 L southeast. Born Nov. 8, 1886, at Siloam Springs, Ark. Mrs. Collins moved to Miami in July 1907. She was a member of the First Baptist church, Royal Neighbors of America, VFW Auxiliary, and Rebekah lodge. Survivors are four sons, Flyn Brumley, Floyd Collins and J.W. Collins, all of Miami; three daughters, Mrs. W.E. Hunnicutt and Mrs. Ernest Green, Miami, and Mrs. John Price, Port Orchard, Wash.; two brothers, Walter and Claude Holt, Joplin; a sister, Mrs. M.C. Simmons, Adair; 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist church with Dr. Weldon E. Marcum officiating. Burial will be in GAR cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home. Grandsons serving as pallbearers will be Lee Hunnicutt, Billy Brumley, Lonnie Brumley, Dan Brumley, Leroy Collins and Bob Collins. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Ernest Green, 309 16th, avenue northwest.
