Everett Shelton and family moved into the Nixdorf property, west of the court house, Friday Charles Simmons, the Rocky Mount grocery salesman, was here Monday looking after the needs of his customers. Lee Wyrick and Barney Hicks, two youngsters of the Etterville vicinity, were taking in the sights of this place Monday. Mark West, one of Richwoods townships, hustling farmers, was a county seat visitor Saturday. While on the hill he gave this office an agreeable call. Deputy circuit clerk, H. M. Atwell was called to St. Louis this week on account of the serious illness of his brother at that place who has the measles. Pilot Knob Everet Brown and family and Mrs. Sarah Sons and daughter were guests of H. Brown and family Sat. Esq. W. R. Carnes was hauling lumber the other day. Guess he is going to build an office in Brumley.
