Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, Thursday, March 12, 1932 Berthal Martin McBroom was born August 15, 1924 near Enon, Mo. He resided there one and one-half years before coming to Hanna City, where he has since made his home. He had just completed the third grade in school where he was known as a diligent student. He attended the Methodist Sunday school whenever it was possible for him to go. The deceased was aged 8 years, 8 months, and 5 days. He will always be remembered by his sunny and loveable disposition, his kindness to others, and his thoughtfulness for his beloved parents. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert McBroom, his twin brother, Herschel, with whom he was always seen, two other brothers, Dorsey and Morris, and two sisters, Eileen and Wanda; also his little nephew, Marvin McBroom, whom he loved as a brother. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. B.F. Dinwiddie and interment was made in Olean Cemetery.
