Obituary: Unknown Publication, December 1945 Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn M. Franklin, widow of the late C.P. Franklin, were held at 2:00 o'clock Thursday, December 27, at the Phillips Funeral Home. Services were conducted by Rev. A.L. Alexander. Burial at Eldon Cemetery. Mrs. Franklin died Tuesday afternoon, December 25th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Howard Bridges, of Webster Groves, Mo. She was 69 years of age. Kathryn M. Lesher was born January 10, 1876, at Williamsburg, Ohio. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Lesher. She was married to Charles P. Franklin on April 14, 1896. Mr. Franklin, who was formerly associated with the Harvey Mercantile Co. here, preceded her in death in 1929. Mrs. Franklin has made her home in St. Louis with her daughter for a number of years. She became a member of the Olean Christian Church in 1896. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Lucy Bridge of St. Louis, she is survived by one son, Harry J. Franklin, also of St. Louis; five grandchildren, Harry J. Franklin, Jr., Jeanne Franklin, Jane, Bill, and Howard Bridges.
