Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, March 1988 Gladys H. Lattimer, 91, of Warrensburg died Tuesday, March 8, 1988 at Warrensburg Manor Care Center. She was born Dec 7, 1896 in Spring Garden to Thomas and Mary Lumpkin Henley. On Jan. 5, 1920 she was married in Eldon to Elmer Austin, who died Nov. 13, 1933. She was married on Sept. 15, 1943 in Kansas City to Charles Lattimer, who died June 29, 1959. Mrs. Lattimer was a member of the Warrensburg First Baptist Church. Surviving her are a daughter, Mary Margaret Baldwin of Warrensburg; a sister, Mary Abbett of Eldon; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. The Rev. N. Paul Callahan and the Rev. Frank E. Myers officiated. Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. at the Eldon Cemetery.
