Obituary: Unknown Publication Mrs. W.L. Allee, Mrs. Verne Young and Harry F. Harvey received a message Thursday telling them that their aunt, Mrs. R.S. Harvey, passed away in Pomona, Calif., Thursday. She had fallen and broken her hip about a week before her death. Mrs. Harvey was born December 15, 1860, and was married at the home of her father, Captain W.T. Franklin, in Mount Pleasant, January 13, 1880, to Robert S. Harvey, founder and former president of the Bank of Eldon. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at their home in Eldon, now the Phillips Funeral Home, January 13, 1930. Their two sons, Ralph S. Harvey, and B.T. Harvey, reside in Pomona, and their daughter, Mrs. Elmer Hale, lives in McAllester, Okla. Few, if any women were held in higher respect and confidence in Eldon than Mrs. Harvey. She was active in Christian Church service here for many years. Funeral services were held at Pomona, Monday.
