Obituary: The Miller County Autogram-Sentinel, January 1985 Grant Cochran, 77, of Iberia died Saturday, Janury 19, 1985, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital. He was born Feb. 25, 1907, in Miller County to Soloman and Betty Wall Cochran. On Jan. 31, 1936, he was married to Mildred Shelton, who died Nov. 1, 1983. Mr. Cochran was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Mt. Union Church of Christ. He was a lifelong resident of Miller County. Surviving are two sons, Francis Lee Cochran of Dixon and Dorlis Cochran of Kaiser and Betty Skokowski of Eldon; two brothers, Bill Cochran and Omer Cochran, both of Iberia; a sister, Venus Duncan of Iberia; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Union Church with Bro. Farris Wall officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Union Cemetery under the direction of Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home.
