    3. Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, Unknown Date Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday for Albert J. Matheis, a farmer in the Enon community. He died Sunday at his home. A son of Valentine and Katherine (Hoffman) Matheis, he was born Oct 29, 1884, in Miller County. On March 17, 1907, he was married to Pearlie Enloe, who survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Foster Scrivner of St. Louis; five sons, Herman Matheis of Independence, Carl of Bartlesville, Okla., Sam and Paul of Kansas City and Avis of Fulton. Also surviving are three brothers, Fred of Enon, and Webster and Arthur of rural Russellville; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers. Mr. Matheis was a member of the Enon Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted at the church with the Rev. Ernest Snodgrass officiating. Burial was in Enloe Cemetery near Russellville under the direction of Scrivner-Stevinson Funeral Home.
