For Millerites (in more ways than one)... The following came to me from the Greenbrier Co. VA (WV) list.. I know that several on this list descend from Boyd Miller who came to early Missouri (and also to Miller Co. MO)... I descend from Boyd his first wife, Mary Story, but after her death he married Elizabeth Stephenson. They brought their large family to Missouri. Their marriage record has been found. "In 2002 the Office of the County Clerk of Greenbrier Co. gathered boxes and boxes of "stuff" that contained documents that were no longer needed/wanted and donated these documents to the Greenbrier Historical Society. As volunteers at the Society sorted these papers they discovered more than 3000 marriage bonds, marriage licenses and permission slips dating from late 1700's to late 1800's. Cost of the documents are $4.00 for a black & white photocopy ($6.00 non-members) and $8.00 for a color copy of the same document ($10.00 non-member).
