Moles, aged 3 years and 8 months; Dr. Nixdorf attending physician. Funeral services Sunday morning from Church of Christ, Eld. G.L. Tomson, minister in charge. At the close of the church service the funeral procession moved slowly to the cemetery where the last solemn rites were pronounced and the dear little remains interred. "This lovely bud so young so fair, Called hence by early doom, Just came to show how sweet a flower In paradise would bloom. Ere sin could harm or sorrow fade, Death came with friendly care, The opening bud to Heaven conveyed And bade it blossom there."
Does anyone know where this family is buried? Unknown Publication, September 1889 TOMSON - At 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 11, 1889, Sarah Keziah, eldest daughter of T.A. and K. Tomson. All who knew her loved her because of her excellent qualities and Christian graces. She leaves aged parents, two sisters and five brothers to mourn her departure, all of whom were present during her last hours except the eldest brother, in Illinois, Mrs. Wright of Arkansas, and Dan, temporarily absent at Fort Smith. "A precious one from us has gone, a voice we love is stilled, A place is vacant in our home which never can be filled. God in His wisdom has recalled the boon his love had given, And though the body moulders here, the soul is safe in Heaven." TOMSON - AT 11 A.M. Sunday, September 29, 1889, Jennie Vann, youngest daughter of T.A. and K. Tomson. Funeral services Wednesday forenoon. Deceased was born in Hardeman County, Tennessee, May 4, 1857. She was a lovely, bright and gentle child, but became a sufferer in girlhood, from which she never fully recovered. In her disposition she was reserved, in manner quiet and unassuming, and but few, if any, ever became really acquainted with her. The death of her dear sister, less than three weeks prior to her own overwhelmed her with grief. She died in the midst of loved ones, her aged parents, only surviving sister, Mrs. J.M. Wright, and the entire family, save one, being present. Her death was typical of her life-peaceful and calm, and as she serenely breathed the departing breath she seemed to fall asleep in sweet repose. "Asleep in Jesus! Blessed sleep, From which none ever wakes to weep! A calm and undisturbed repose, Unbroken by the last of foes."

Unknown Publication, June 1893 Sister Robinson, wife of T.B. Robinson of Tuscumbia, Mo., died June 27, 1893. She was in her 63rd year and had been a disciple of Christ forty-one or forty-two years. Sister Robison was a kind and affectionate mother, and a devoted Christian. She was good to the poor and always ready to minister to the necessities of the afflicted. She never neglected an opportunity to encourage young preachers by a manifestation of substantial sympathy. She has gone to her reward. She rests from her labors. May the God of heaven comfort the sorrowing husband and relatives. There is a vacant chair in Bro. Robinson's home, and a vacant place in the church in Tuscumbia that perhaps can never be filled. May the blessings of God attend us who are left on the shores of time and may we all be faithful until death so that we may all meet again where there is no sickness, no sorrow, no death. O how we long for the rest, home and heaven. -G. L. Tomson NOTE: Parthenia J. Burks first married Gordon McCarthy then Theodore Robinson.

Sister Josephine, as we usually called her, was taken to the Mullanphy Hospital, ST. Louis, Mo. where an operation was performed early in February last, since which time she was subjected to three more operations. The last one only a short time before her death. She died in the hospital Sept. 8, 1905. Her patience and wonderful vitality throughout elicited the admiration and sympathy of the nurses and was a wonder to the doctors. She confessed her Savior and was baptized when about fifteen years of age and her name was enrolled on the church book at Old Spring Garden, Miller County, Mo. May the surviving relatives and friends strive earnestly to get ready for the solemn hour of death. It is written, "For we must all appear before the judgment set of Christ." (2 Cor. 5; 10) -G.L.
