She was born Oct. 1, 1898 in Iberia to John and Louiella Blize Kinder. On July 10, 1918 she was married to Clate Condra, who died April 26, 1981: She was a lifetime resident of Iberia and was a member of the Iberia United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. She also was a member of the Iberia American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving her are three sons, Kenneth Condra of Washington D.C., Garrett Condra of Miami, Fla., and Roger Condra of Birrningham, Ala.; three daughters, Ruth of Springfield and Imogene Bilyeu and Louella Bilicke of St. Louis; two sisters, Blanch Condra of Springfield and Minnie McDonald of Dixon; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Karen Morse officiating. Burial was in the Iberia Cemetery.

Condra, 88, of Iberia died Tuesday, July 16, 1985, at Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City. She was born Dec. 25, 1896, at Brumley to W.C. and Sally Schooley Wall. On May 23, 1915, she was married in Iberia to Everette Allen Condra, who died Jan. 4. 1972. She was a member of the Iberia First Christian Church. Surviving her are two daughters, Phyllis Tussey of Eldon and Gladys Wright of Defiance; five brothers, Willard Wall of Colorado, Price Wall of Iberia, Jesse Wall of Kansas City and Roy Wall and Glenn Wall, both of St. Louis; two sisters, Glee Vanbenthysen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Isa Bryan of Foley; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great -grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Kury officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.

She was born Feb. 14, 1897, to Floyd and Sarah McDowell Wall. On April 25, 1926, she was married in Iberia to Marion C. Hopkins, who died May 28, 1962. Mrs. Hopkins was nearly a lifetime resident of Iberia. She had lived at the Miller County Nursing Home for several years. She was a member of the Iberia Church of the Nazarene. Surviving her are a son, Robert Hopkins of Iberia, and two brothers, Virgil Wall of Tulsa, Okla., and Claude Wall of Iberia. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in the Iberia Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 25, 1886, at Iberia to William L. and Sarah Heltzell Far-nham. On Oct. 28, 1904, she was married to Clifford H. Clark, who died Aug. 16, 1963. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church in Iberia. For several years she taught piano and organ lessons in her home. Surviving are a daughter, Mae Sponsel of St. Louis; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two nephews, Gene Farnham of Waynesville and Don Farnham of Iberia. Funeral services were held Friday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl B. Brown officiating. Burial was in the Iberia Cemetery.

    3. Obituary: Jefferson City News Tribune, June 1988 Thelma E. Clark, 57, Iberia, died Monday in an automobile accident on Mo. 42 six miles west of Brum-ley in Miller County. She was born Sept. 18, 1930, at Bagnell, a daughter of Vincent and Annie Belcher Irwin. On June 19, 1948, she was married at Mtn. Home, Ark., to Gerald Clark, who died July 28, 1983. A homemaker, for the past five years she had worked at Friendship Home at Iberia, R-II School at Tuscumbia, and then the Miller County Courthouse under auspices of the Green Thumb orga-nization. She was a member of the Iberia First Baptist Church. Survivors include: a son, Randal Clark, Columbia; four brothers, Walter Irwin and Vencil Irwin, both of Burlington, N.C:, and Joe Irwin and Clarence Irwin, both of Iberia; and three sisters, Jennie Hogue and Mae Ferguson, both of Iberia, and Dora Alexander, Lake Ozark. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Iberia First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Haskell Or-rick officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 p. m. Thurs-day at Stevinson-Mossman Fune-ral Home, Iberia.

Mr. Slote was a member of the Greenridge Baptist Church. He was an employee for many years of Oberman Manufacturing Co.     3. Obituary: Jefferson City News Tribune, September 1986 Dewey Payton Brockman, 88, Kansas City, a former Miller County resident, died Saturday at the Baptist Memorial Hospital, Kansas City. He was born April 27; 1898, at Bagnell, a son of John and Eliza Wilcox Brockman. On Nov. 25, 1921, he was married at Indepen-dence to Lillie Davenport, who sur-vives of the home. Mr. Brockman was a school tea-cher in Miller County until 1929 when he moved to Kansas City. Prior to his retirement in 1969, he was employed for 37 years by the Ford Motor Company as a quality control inspector. Other survivors include: two daughters, Lois Wilson, Eldon, and Doris Wren, Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Mary Starling, Leaven-worth, Kan.; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Tuscumbia Bap-tist Church with the Rev. Robert Nuckolls officiating. Burial will be at the Tuscumbia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

She was born Feb. 9, 1914, at Gaylord, Kan., a daughter of Au-gust and Minnie Wagner Bechtold. She was married June 23, 1938, at Gaylord, Kan., to Rev. Earl B. Brown, who survives at the home. She received her B.A. degree from Lincoln University. She was a member of the Iberia United Church of Christ (Congregation- Christian), where she was a Sun-day school teacher, the Missouri State Teachers Association, the National Teachers Association, Kappa Kappa Iota, the teacher's sorority, the Retired Teachers As-sociation, the Iberia Community Betterment Association, the Miller County Extension Club and was secretary of the Miller County Historical Society. In 1980, she retired after 31 years at Waynesville Schools. Other survivors include: one son, Douglas Brown, Wright City; one-daughter, Carol Kruel, Creve Coeur; two brothers, Lawrence Becthold, Wichita, Kan., Francis Becthold, Gaylord, Kan.; one sis-ter, Esther Wood, Lenexa, Kan.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stevinson- Mossman Funeral Home at Iberia; with the Iberia Ministerial Alli-ance officiating. Burial will be in the Iberia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home at Iberia. Memorials may be made to the Evangelical Children's Home at St. Louis.

Surviving Mrs. Casey are a daughter, Peggy Fancher of Iberia; two brothers, William A. Curtiss Jr. of Houston, Tex., and Joe Curtiss of El-don; a sister, Mable Maness of Eldon; and five grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a daughter, Joanne Stevinson; a brother, Donald W. Curtiss; and a sister, Ruth. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stevinson- Mossman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Iberia Cemetery. The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the Iberia First Baptist Church building fund.

Mrs. Elliott was a retired high school teacher. She taught history and science for 35 years, retiring in 1970. She had lived in North Carolina for the past seven years. Mrs. Elliott held a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Missouri and was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association and the Ulman Baptist Church. Surviving her are two sons, John Elliott of New Bern, N.C., and Dr. James Elliott of Columbia; a sister, Wilma Warren of Eldon; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Stevinson- Mossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Gott Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
