The WWI Draft registration Cards from Ancestry.com show two James Arthur Wall. One born 7-17-1893, the other 3-5-1897. James Arthur Wall, b. 1897, had a registration date of June 4, 1918. The James Arthur Wall born in 1897 had a wife listed as Emma Wall, his Father's birth place is listed as Hawkeye, Mo. Virginia is the state her father was born in; the line underneath is the maiden name of the mother -"Thompson", in fact Elizabeth Thompson born Aug 26 1805 in Virginia. Her father was Catlet James born May 3 1786 in Virginia. I don't know where the name Catlet came from; there were a few around in earlier census returns. Catlet James had a son Waddy Thompson James b Aug 12 1836; he became a colonel in the army. At c 1920 Richwoods 98 7b Arthur Wall 26 farmer, b Mo (Mo Mo) ; wife Henrietta 29 b Ohio, (Wisconsin, Ohio); dau Hazel 6; Rowland Schneider bro in law 23 b Ohio, (Wisconsin, Ohio) ag lab. The 1930 census for Crocker City, Tavern, Pulaski shows Arther Wall as a 38 y widower, odd job man, rooming with William J Mace 66 & wife Rosa 58. At c 1930 Logan, Quay Co, New Mexico; Henriette Wall 37 divorced, married at 20, b Ohio (parents b Ohio and Mo); working as clerk in general store; dau Hazel M Wall 16 single, b Mo (parents b Mo & Ohio). The SSDI 500 16-8532 relates to Van Buren, Carter Co Mo and to Arthur Wall b 17 Jul 1894 died July 1976. Looking at the WWI Draft registration Cards from Ancestry.com there were two James Arthur Wall, one born 7-17-1893, the other 3-5-1897. The WWI Draft Registration for James Arthur Wall, b. 1893, is dated June 5, 1917. The James Arthur Wall born 1893, is listed as living near Iberia with wife and 2 children, no names mentioned. death cert 25133 for Richwoods Miller Co; James Wall b 17 Jun 1916 in Miller Co; died 22 Jun 1916 at 5 days; premature labour at 7 months. Informant was Arthur Wall. Parents were listed as Arthur J Walls b Miller Co and Henrietta Schneider b Ohio. Haven't come across Emma Eiffert yet. He was born Sept. 20, 1900, in Pike County, Ind., a son of Rufus and Kate Grubb White. He was married Jan. 1, 1937, at St. Louis, to Lucille Mace, who survives at the home. A retired carpenter, Mr. White was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational Church, Iberia. Other survivors include: four brothers; John White, Sullivan, Dale White, Fairmont, Ga., Charles White, Exeter, Calif., William White, Mishawka, Ind. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Stevinson Mossman Funeral Home, Iberia, with Dr. Ellis Livingston officiating. Burial will be in the Iberia Cemetery.     3. Obituary: The Miller County Autogram-Sentinel, August 1986 Ruby Lee vonGremp, 81, of Iberia died Thursday, Nov. 17, 1988 at SL Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. She was born May 30, 1907in Iberia to Samuel and Etta Waite Livingston. On Dec. 24, 1930 she was married in Lebanon to Bluford vonGremp who survives at the home. Mrs. vonGremp was a graduate of the Iberia Academy and Southwest Missouri State University. She taught at Iberia and Waynesvile. Mrs. vonGremp was a member of the Iberia First Baptist Church and the Iberia Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Esther Gooderl of Jefferson City and Emily Tygart of Costa Mesa, Calif.; four brothers, Herbert Livingston and Berry Livingston, both of lberia, Jack Livingston of Shelbina and Curtis Livingston of Hilo, Hawaii; a sister, Mabel Adams of Knoxville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren . Funeral services were held Sundayat Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia with the Rev. Haskell Orrick officiating. Burial was in the Iberia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Iberia First Baptist Church Building Fund Obituary: The Miller County Autogram-Sentinel, June 1988 Zella von Gremp, 84, formerly of Iberia, died on June 28, 1988, at John Knox Retirement Center of Orange City, Fla. Born Jan.12, 1904 in Iberia to Dr. and Mrs. W. A. von Gremp. She graduated from Iberia Academy, and received a bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Missouri, and an RN degree from Cook County Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago, Ill. She is survived by two brothers, Bluford von Gremp of Iberia and Jim von Gremp of Camdenton; one sister, Vivian Humphrey of Waynesville, and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 3, at 3 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Iberia with Dr. Ellis Livingston officiating. The body has been cremated with burial at a later date in the Iberia Cemetery.

    3. Obituary: The Miller County Autogram Sentinel, February 1987 Richard L. Randall, 74, of Iberia died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1987 at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia. He was born April 6, 1912 in Michigan to Rev. Clark and Mary Sundermeyer Randall. He first was married on April 7, 1968 to Queen Ann Crum, who died Feb; 10, 1975. On Sept. 17, 1981 he was married to Mary Jane Hensley, who survives. Mr. Randall was a retired farmer and had lived in the Iberia area since the 1960s. He was a member of the Iberia First Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Esther Johnson of Plainfield, Wisc.; a brother, Robert Randall of Rochester, Minn.; and neices and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Haskell Orrick and Willis Horton officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery.

    3. Obituary: The Miller County Autogram Sentinel, October 1985 Goldie Ethel Patterson, 82, of Route 2, Iberia, died Oct. 2, 1985 at the Waynesville Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 26, 1903 at Iberia, the daughter of Chester and Lottie Thompson Cross. On Dec. 30, 1923, she married Harry P. Patterson at Iberia. He survives of the home. She was a homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God Church at Iberia for many years. Other survivors include: two daughters, Hazel Catron of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Barbara Moss of Iberia; four sons, Floyd of Lake Lotawana; Paul of West Plains; James of Toronto. Ontario, Canada; and Sam of Lee's Sum-mit; two sisters, Minnie Dake of Kansas City and Lucille Terry of Rolla; two brothers, Walter Cross of Raytown and Clay Cross of San Antonio, Texas; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and seven step-great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Mae Strickland, who died in 1944. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct; 5, at First Assembly of God Church of Iberia with Rev. Randall A.
