    1. Re: [MOMILLER] Holtmeyer/Veit - obituary
    2. Hi, I'm in California on a business trip without my genealogy records, so from memory Josephine is my mother's sister. Their parents are my grandparents who are Herman Joseph and Anna Marie Elizabeth (Lizzie Buersmeyer) Adrian. The Buersmeyer line goes back a ways, the Adrian line I don't have a lot of information on. Herman's dad was Theodore who married ?? Koetzner. She remarried a Suthoff (?) when Theodore died and had more children. There are also several other second marriages in the lines. And on the Buersmeyer side there's a story that Lizzie's father was actually a Rauschelbach whose father thought his wife was having another man's baby so he kicked her out. She went to live with the Buersmeyers who adopted the baby when it was born and she went back to her husband. I have no proof of this. I'll get you the info when I'm back in Iowa, remind me in a couple weeks if I forget. I should verify the above before yo utake it as gospel. Rudolph and Josephine raised Delores as their own when she was orphaned, or something close to that. She and my mother were close, growing up together. Mom's mother died of kidney trouble when she was 3 years old, her dad Herman had Parkinson's and died when she was a teenager. She also went to live with her sister Josephine then. In the meantime, the relationship you show below links you and me by the Huhman's. How are you related to Stub Holtmeyer? 3. Becky, I looked for the e-mail I sent, and I think I meant to say Rose Sommerhauser, not Louise Sommerhauser, if that is what I asked. Do you get the MOMILLER obits that are from rootsweb? She was mentioned in the Faherty/Sanning obit.... I have an Agnes M. Sommerhauser in my Rehagen file, and wondered if Rose is a sister....as I have no parents for Agnes.
