    3. I think I have found him in the 1910 census for Liberty, Stoddard Co MO as the 13 year old son of EB & Mary A Jeffress, but have been unable to trace him in any census returns either before or after. He married Ruth Painton (when?) and became Postmaster at Painton, Stoddard County in about 1941. Can anyone confirm his parents or the spelling of his forenames? Paddy

    2. Thanks for looking Jim, and you're so right! They are a tangled web and one big mess! Rosamond doesn't know where she came from...let alone how to spell her name. Which wouldn't bother me if I just knew her last name! I have seen her last name as Haziah before, but I think someone got confused somewhere along the way. I don't think it's correct. What I think is that her parents were Jordan George and Rosamond Maddox, but no proof. Franklin Carlton's wife was Melvina George. I have a lot of info on these families, but so many loose ends. 3. After I reread things, I think of other things or missed answering something. Lonnie and Luna are buried in the Hawkins Cemetery. Thetis Olga married Chester Graham who was Grandma Wall's nephew, I think. Would have to check the family tree to be sure. I had always heard they were first cousins. Thetis was the oldest of Lonnie and Luna's children. There were three boys, Robert, Forrest and Rex who all died before Thetis did. Thetis and Chet married in August 1926 a few days after Mom and Dad. They had 10 children. Thetis Lucille (one of the kids) and her husband Frank Sylvester came to the 2005 reunion. Another girl, Nancy Doyle used to send me so many forwards, sort of like Martha. Forrest was Meta, Bill and Martha's dad.
