We are working out a suitable fee schedule, dependent on the size of the file. The museum charges 25 cents per page to copy and will need to add the cost of postage and a mailing envelope. The Miller County Historical Society has a web site under construction. It is still in the elementary stages of development with there's lots of good stuff to come. We hope to capture the full range of historical interest in Miller County with heavy emphasis on the people. We are presently posting information and will be adding photographs along the way. We have tried to gather together the writings of local historians with heavy reliance on Peggy Hake's work. We are currently assembling her biographies which will appear under "Publications". Our "Library" and "Communities" tabs are nearly complete as well as some tabs under "Cultural Resources". We celebrated the ground-breaking for our museum addition last Sunday and you will find particulars under "About Us", "Here We GROW". We've been reluctant to announce our presence because we don't want you to stop in once and not come back. There is still a lot of content in the "assembly" stage and we will be posting it as quickly as possible. These are exciting times for those of us who are working to preserve the history of Miller County, and we want to share our enthusiasm and story with all of you. Please come see us at: www.millercountymuseum.org <http://www.millercountymuseum.org/> Nancy Arnold Thompson

Hi, Margaret Alice Webb and Otto Mace may be double cousins-I'm not sure. Cornelius Francis Mace married Nina May Webb in Camden, MO. They had a son Jesse Otto Mace b. 1/26/1909 d. 10/21/1973 Roby, Texas, Mo. He was married to Fairie Mason. Nina May was Margaret Alice Webb's sister (younger). b. 1879 Camden, MO. Their parents were John Webb and Nancy Thompson. The Jesse Alexander Webb b.1885 who married Ellen Idella Mace could be a brother of Nina May and Margaret Alice. I don't know at this point. I found a death certificate for Thomas F. Allen d. 12/17/1919 in Texas, MO. The certificate states that he was buried in Longhollow Cemetery. Cornelius and some of his family were also buried in that cemetery. I don't have much on the Webbs, but can send you what I do have in relation to the Mace family. Are you in touch with or do you know anything about the Mace family? Jesse Otto Mace's father, Cornelius, was 1st cousin to my great great grandfather, John Reardon. John Reardon's mother was Cecelia Matilda Mace-Reardon. I have more on this line if you know anyone who is interested.
