    3. I checked the 1900 census and found a granddaughter, Grace M. Jan 1897, living in the household. Hiram Buckner Van Hooser is also in the household and listed as widowed. I think it would be a fair guess that the other female in the photo is Grace. I'll have Wayne add the photo to Peggy's story on our web site. 1. [MOMILLER] Emma Hale Hollensworth obit
    2. Emma Hale Hollensworth Obituary Mrs. Emma Hollensworth, wife of Authur Hollensworth, departed this life at her home near Brumley, Monday Feb. 3rd, 1913. She was the daughter of William and Mary Hale. She was born Jan. 25, 1886 and was 27 years old at the time of her death. On the second Sun. in February, 1903, she confessed her faith in her Savior and was buried with him in baptism. She had been afflicted from early childhood and when she was baptised, like the man "sick of the palsy" Mark 9:3 she was "Borne of four" Four men bearing her on a cot, let her down in the waters of baptism in obedience to her Lord"s command. Matt 28:19-20. She was strong in faith and loved her Lord and his cause. She evidently will be classed with those John saw. Rev. 7:14, "Who came out of great tribulation and washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb." Her husband was very devoted and kind to her. The tender devotion and care of Her parents, and her brothers and sisters in her closing days on earth was comforting to her but could not stop the unwelcome messenger of death .Funeral services were held in the Christian Church of which she was a devoted member.. The services were very appropriately conducted by J. M. Hawkins, assisted by Bro. Halsey and Bro. Lev Thompson, after which the body was laid to rest in the Hawkins Cemetery\ to await the Master's call on the resurrection Morn.
