Are the homestead land records for Miller County kept anywhere at the local level??? I have the dates/names/location of the homestead files I need; where is my best luck at finding them? Thank you Marsha
It does...thank you! This does clarify a few things for Rosamond. I've spent most of the day (It's raining in the evergreen State..:) checking out Elisha Thomas Bond 1895, and Thomas Jefferson Bond 1863, hoping to place either of them somewhere, but no luck! They may have Tennessee roots which is where Carrie's and my John Bond family came from but they're just as elusive. Thank s for all the input everyone! peg In a message dated 10/6/2008 4:52:59 A.M. What do I think? I think this site is FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know one Thomas Bond was in Morgan Co, MO but I couldn't connect them with my two sets of BONDs. My mother was a BOND (Iberia set) and I married a BOND from the Saline township Area. (no relation back to 1796). I appreciate all the feedback. This gives me another avenue to explore.
