    1. [MOMILLER] Smith/Wilson - obituary
    2. Nancy & Jerry Thompson
    3. The Iberia Sentinel, September 1936 We are sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Martha Ann Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was formerly from around Iberia, but for the past twenty years lived in Newburg. Mrs. Wilson was born March 1st, 1882, departed this life Sep. 24, 1936, being at the time of her death 54 years and 6 months of age. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James. M. Smith. In her early life she was united in marriage to Jim Henry Wilson. To this union thirteen children were born. Her father, mother, seven sisters and four children preceded her in death. There are left to mourn her departing her husband and nine children who are Mrs. Edna Shelton of Joplin, Mrs. Cora Forbis, Mrs. Edith Husky and Glenn of St. Louis, Mrs. Rose Tinnel, Mrs. Lillie Hass, Perry, Elmer and Jack, all of Newburg. Her two sisters, Mrs. Ruah Malmberg and Mrs. Jemima Slawson also survive. There are a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was a devoted wife and mother and all who knew her loved her. She united with the Christian Church a number of years ago and has lived a Christian life ever since. The pastor of the Christian Church spoke words of tenderness to the many sorrowing ones who gathered together to pay their last respects to their loved one. The departed suffered from sugar diabetes and death claimed her at the Desloges Hospital in St. Louis where she had hopes of regaining her failing health. But it seemed that God was calling her home and she died with a smile on her lips, saying she was ready to go. The bereaved ones have our deepest regrets and sympathy. Her body was laid to rest in Newburg Cemetery. Johnston undertakers had charge of the funeral.

    1. [MOMILLER] Thomson/Adcock - obituary
    2. Nancy & Jerry Thompson
    3. The Iberia Sentinel, September 1936 Funeral services for Mrs. John W. Adcock, who died at Eldon Tuesday morning of last week, were conducted at the Eldon Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday by the pastor, Rev. A.L.
