Death of Miss M'Laughlin Tuberculosis Claims trenton Woman Following a lingering Illness Miss Carrie McLaughlin passed away at 4:10 o'clock this (Saturday) morning at her homein the apartments over Lafferty's store on North Main Street, following a year's lingering illness with tuberculosis. Miss McLaughlin was 52 years old. She was the eldest child of Asberry and America McLaughlin. she was born near Spickard in 1865. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. S.G. Garnand, of this city and two brothers, F. N. McLaughlin, of Missouri Valley, IA., and W. H. McLaughlin, of Willimar, Minnesota. The remains were taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garnand. funeral plans have not yet been announced. (Trenton Daily Republican and Tribune9 29/1917) Funeral of Miss McLaughlin On account of a delayed message, the funeral of Miss Carrie McLaughlin, which was to have been held Monday afternoon, has been postponed to Tuesday afternoon. The service will be held at 2"30 o'clock from the residence of S. G. Garnand, on East Eighth street.
