James: I have a 1870 &1880 Census book for Mercer County, MO. I found NO Silas Mobley in the 1870 census. In the Moore Cemetery is where Rebecca Mobley is buried. She died December 18, 1878 she was age 41y-8m-16d. She was the dau of E. Bushman and wife of Silas Mobley Silas is also buried there. May 2, 1837- Jan. 29, 1915 They have a daughter buried there also. Ida R. Aug. 16, 1879 d/o S.R. Mobley(Silas and Rebecca). Don't know if this will be of any help to you. Some of Vinzants married Mobley's.
