Hi List I'm new to this list and wondering if anyone here has access to a marriage book for Mercer County. I need some verification that a marriage took place between Rachel Davis Hart and Thomas Fox between 1870-1880 Thanks in advance Marcia Hart Wilson

The Court house burned down about 1896. 1880 census: Harrison Twp., Mercer Co., MO 224-204 FOX, Thomas W M 55 M Farming IN NC NC Rachel W F 51 wife M TN NC NC Elias W M 16 son S IA IN IN Thomas J W M 14 son S IA IN IN Hart, Martha C. W F 14 stepdau S MO KY TN William W M 12 stepson S MO KY TN 224-215 FOX, Amos W M 29 Cooper IN IN IN Mary W F 24 wife PA PA Holland Looks like both came into this marriage with their chilldren from a previous Marriage. Members of the FOX family are buried Coon, Groff, Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, and Princeton. There are also Fox families in Wayne Co., IA, just north of Mercer Co., MO.
