I am seeking information on a family that lived in Mercer County in the 1880 census, Sommerset Township. Ellen Knott was widowed and four of her children lived with her. The children were Morris, Arabella, Jane and James. Another daughter Clara and her husband John Newington lived right next door to them. Three of Ellen's children married in Grundy Co or got licenses there they were as follows: Arabella married John W. Fowler on 7 June 1881 Jane married Job "Frank" Yarnell from Wayne Co, IA on 22 June 1881 Morris married Sarah Fowler 14 Feb 1884 John and Sarah were the children of William and Sarah Fowler of Harrison Twp, Grundy Co, MO. Does anyone know anything about these familes? I know that Jane and Job Yarnell moved to Kansas about 1885. I can find no record of Ellen or the rest of her family after that? Thanks so much. Glynice
