My g g grandmother was Elizabeth Jane Stanturf. She was born in Butler Co., PA. abt. 1835. She first married Bluford Vanderpool and after his death she married George W. Brown in 1870 in Daviess Co., MO. She was last found near Modena, Mercer Co., MO. in 1880. Does anyone have any info. on her date of death and/or place of burial? Thanks, Barbara

My great grandfather was George W Brown, b. 1848 in Daviess Co, MO to John A and Nancy Ninemires Brown. George W married Cordelia E Mason, abt 1885, in Mercer Co, MO. This was George's second marriage but I haven't been able to determine the name of his first wife. Do you have any additional information on the George W Brown who marred Elizabeth Jane Stanturf Vanderpool? You mentioned that Elizabeth Jane was last found near Modena in 1880. Just wondering if this couple is in the 1880 census?
