How does one find out if a person owned land in Mercer County. Ellen Knott mover there sometime between 1874 and 1880 to Sommerset Township. She was still there in 1885 but cannot find out anything about her. She was widowed and I am trying to find out if she owned land and how to research the records in Mercer County. Thanks so much.
