I looked in the 1880 census and found the following, which I believe is your family: Marion Township 188/188 BALES, Nancy W F 45 Widow House Keeping TN VA VA Harrett W F 19 dau Single At Home MO TN TN William W M 15 son " Works on farm " " " Peter M. W M 14 son " " " Thomas F. W M 13 son " " " Mary E. W F 10 dau " " " Eliza A. W F 8 dau " " " Sarah C. W F 4 dau " " " Bertha A. W F 2 dau " " " I did not find the family in the 1870 census of Mercer County. I only looked in the records I have in my own home, so they may have been in an earlier census of the county. Again, from the Fairley Cemetery is this listing: P. M. Bayles, died July 24, 1878, aged 56 y 11m 6 d Nancy C., his wife, died Apr. 25, 1899, aged 58 y 1 m 20 d There are several other listings, which appear to be your family, as there is a P. M.
